Artist Bio
Harold Eugene Catron Jr., known professionally as Harold Foxx, is a Deaf screenwriter, producer, director, comedian, and actor from Memphis, Tennessee. A Gallaudet University graduate and former football player, Harold is the creator of The Harold Foxx Show, an online comedy series that showcases his sharp humor and storytelling across social media platforms. Well known for his stand-up comedy, he’s a regular at comedy venues nationwide.
He wrote, produced, and directed Smell the Nature for the 2021 Easterseals Disability Film Challenge and served as Associate Producer for the feature documentary Being Michelle. Harold has also worked in post-production on Amazon Studios’ Something from Tiffany’s and was a 2021 RespectAbility Lab Fellow.
Recently, he co-wrote, co-directed, and starred in Open to Interpretation, earning a 2024 Easterseals Best Actor nomination, and appeared in The Invalids (2025), a dystopian short that received multiple Easterseals nominations. In May 2025, he earned his Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Screenwriting from California State University, Northridge, where he refined his skills in writing, producing, and directing impactful screenplays and films. Harold continues to create authentic Deaf stories through film and stand-up while based in Los Angeles, California.
