Autism Center of Excellence Network: Neurodevelopmental Biomarkers of Late Diagnosis in Autism

Eligibility:

  • Individuals aged 16-39 years who either (1) have a diagnosis of ASD or (2) suspect they may have ASD.

Purpose

  • The purpose of this research study is to discover why some people are diagnosed with autism early on, while others are identified later in their lives. We will use many different assessments and tools to better understand the timing of autism diagnosis.

Involvement:

  • 1-2 study visits in person and/or online

Compensation

  • Up to $300 for study participation
  • Evaluation for an autism diagnosis and a report at no cost
