Ingrid Ramirez

Ingrid Sosa Ramirez is a third-year Physiological Science major at the University of
California, Los Angeles. She is interested in neurodevelopment, child and adolescent mental
health, and family-centered approaches to care. Ingrid is particularly interested in the early
identification, prevention, and evidence-based intervention of mental health challenges in youth.
She currently supports the PEERS® Social Skills Classes, where she assists in promoting social
skill development for young adults. In the future, Ingrid plans to pursue a career in pediatric
medicine and hopes to contribute to holistic, community-informed models of healthcare.
